School Discos
School discos can be a big source of revenue for any school. For
primary schools it is generally a good idea to run two discos - one for
the grade 1 -4's early in the evening, followed by one for the grade 5 -
7's. Charge a reasonable entry fee and also sell simple food - hot dogs
and hot chips are ideal, soft drinks and water. Glow sticks and LED
products are also very popular and will make you good profits. Most
children will buy one or two if the price is reasonable. You will need
to have a reasonable number of parents available for security. Generally
children are not allowed to leave the hall once the disco has started
and must be collected by an adult.
